I Like-a Lake Powell

So this is a highly belated and picture heavy post... Gotta love Lake Powell

Landon LOVED playing in the sand.... right up until the edge sloughed off and he ended up in the water... then he was not so happy!

The family... my mom LOVES taking family pictures but we don't have at Lake Powell so we decided to fix that!

How cute is Berklie? Serious the girl is ADORABLE!!!! She LOVED the boat! Every time we were riding she'd say "more more more more more more more" the whole time! Seriously this girl is so adorable!

We may or may not have built a zip line... aka a "rear anchor" my 2 brothers and cousin are checking it out to see if Eli is gonna die on his way down... don't worry, a video of it will be coming! :)


Landon is too freaking smart... he sits there and watches you do something and figures it out, then walks over and does it. He figured out how to undo the latches on the gates! not good!

Reagan had a blast playing in the water! She even went off the slide on the houseboat twice by herself!!!

Camila LOVED the sand! Absolutely LOVED it!


As did Doober boy! Mainly he liked hitting golf balls in the sand...

Some other fun adventures from Lake Powell included: Dad getting Swine Flu/Pneumonia :), the rest of us getting the stomach flu, getting caught with illegal fireworks (hilarious story), A few pretty good rain storms, NO INJURIES!!!! (A Gilbert family first!), watching the NBA Semi-finals every night while eating dinner, eating way too much food, sleeping too much, and lots of good play time!

It's always a party at Lake Powell!
